Video Algorithm Engineer

Huawei new and rapidly growing Video Algorithms & Tools Team is open for talented and qualified engineers to join them. One of the team’s projects direction is the development of image processing algorithms used by Huawei in mobile phones and not only. Its goal is to work on some of the most challenging and ambitious technical problems that will impact Huawei products. The quality of our users' videos and photos depends on our work.
Responsibilities
- Develop computer vision algorithms;
- Adapt algorithms for Android and Harmony OS-based mobile phones.
Requirements
- С++, STL;
- Experience with OpenCV;
- In-depth knowledge of classical algorithms and data structures;
- Experience in multithreaded programming;
- Proficient in Python at a good level (numpy, jupiter, opencv);
- Knowledge of the basic algorithms of computer vision;
- Knowledge of the methods of data analysis and machine learning, as well as have the skills to apply these methods in practice;
- Good English skills (intermediate level or higher);
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
It will be a plus if you:
- Know Java and have experience in Android development;
- Have experience programming under Linux;
- Have experience with CMake, Gradle, Maven;
- Have experience working with one of the DL frameworks (Tensorflow/PyTorch/Keras);
- Have experience embedding neural networks on mobile platforms, experience working with Android NN API, ArmNN, TF Lite, MNN;
- Understand the pros and cons of different design patterns and architectural approaches, know when it is appropriate to apply one or another approach;
- Have experience of participating in artificial intelligence competitions;
- Have experience of participating in sports programming competitions.
