Support and supervision of Data Privacy, Compliance and legal matters, including but not limited to:

• Advise on day-to-day data privacy, compliance and business undertakings
• Review and draft all kind of agreements (including approved templates)
• Advise on commercial issues and negotiate with external parties, where needed or appropriate

Regulatory Requirements
• Monitor changes and developments in the legal and regulatory environment where the company operates, advise management and provide legal assistance in developing company strategies
• Provide advice and legal support on application and maintenance of all authorizations, permits, licenses, contracts and communication needed for local operations
• Provide internal legal review of promotional programs and materials to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, codes and company standards
• Initiate and respond to regulatory/competitors challenges on questionable promotions

Business Standards & Compliance
• Provide the required legal assistance in monitoring and maintaining compliance and risk management strategies
• Assist and participate in compliance training, review of compliance issues, work with the local teams on formulation and implementation of appropriate local business standards and procedures consistent with local laws and other applicable legislation

• Assist with the interpretation of regional and local Company Standards, Corporate Policies and Procedures (“Policies”) and help ensure compliance by local subsidiaries
• Keep regional/local management apprised of significant legal and corporate developments and trends in support of the company's business
• Prepare and review communication with external parties, including the government, industry association and the public in relation to healthcare legislations/policies and disease awareness campaigns

• Requirements to a candidate:

  Qualifications
  • Admitted to practice law in Russia
  • 2 – 6 years post admission experience, preferably from a multinational organisation; and/or a top tier law firm and minimum 1 year supporting on data privacy matters;
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Professional or academic legal qualification or experiences in other jurisdictions would be advantageous
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry

  
  Desirable skills and knowledge:

  The following experience is preferred:
  • In-house experience with a pharmaceutical company or multinational organisation;
  • Private practice experience from advising pharmaceutical companies; or
  • Private practice experience in providing general commercial, regulatory, including anti-trust, marketing and/or privacy issues. Some experience in commercial litigation and general labour law is desirable.
  • Familiarity with the Anti-bribery and anti-corruption requirements and regulation

  • Additional degrees in science or business disciplines would be advantageous
