Your role:
- Take part in the business restructuring engagements (financial model preparation/reviews, independent business reviews, restructuring options analysis)
- Perform analysis of forecast financial models, including assumptions review, technical accuracy, overall consistency
- Perform analysis of historical financial and management reporting
- Build own financial models based on the historical financial and management reporting and forecast assumptions
- Prepare reports, presentations and pitch materials
- Conduct market researches
- Support directors and partners in their business development activity.
- Interact with the other practices of the PwC Deals platform including Acquisitions and Divestitures, and Investments and Finance Raising, as well as other Lines of Services, including Consulting solutions and Tax&Legal
- Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
- Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
Candidate requirements:
- Working experience in audit and/or restructuring, valuation or transaction services for at least 2 - 3 years (Big4 is a plus) and/or in a corporation, private equity fund, bank.
- Practical working knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to structure and build complex financial/ DCF models / business plans
- Comprehensive theoretical and working knowledge of corporate finance / valuation techniques
- Analytical skills (financial, economic and strategic analysis), ability to process large amounts of data, attention to details
- Good knowledge of accounting (Russian GAAP, IFRS)
- Excellent command of Russian and English, both written and oral
- Good team player
- ACCA/CFA qualification is a plus
- University degree with a majors related with finance, economics or mathematics
- Effective communicator including presenting and information gathering; good command of MS Powerpoint and MS Word
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools: PowerBI, Tableau etc
- Good overall awareness of the Russian economy and market is an advantage
- Inquisitive mind and energetic personality
