Technology stack:

- Programming Languages: php, react, js
- CI/CD: Quber + Gitlab pipelines

Team:
- 1 product team (20 employees) for 3 products
- We are planning to split this team to 2 different teams
- Growth plan: minimum x2 during 2022
Position level: CEO-1
Responsibilities:
- Ensure sustainability and reliability of LegionFarm Platform
- Manage performance and resources of Engineering team to meet the needs of the business
- Interface and communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and propose design alternatives
- Create and implement best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to increase the speed of development and improve product quality
- Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate technical risks
- Hire, grow and retain talent. The plan is to grow the team 12 ? 40 FTE in the next year
- Ensure strong communication between teams to facilitate the exchange of information
- Help engineers progress in their careers and strengthen their skills
- Provide status updates on the team’s tasks and ensure on-time completion. Evaluate missed targets and identify and address root causes such as training requirements, process, and methodology improvements
Requirements:
- Experience of setting up the Engineering function within the global platform in growing product/SAAS companies
- Strong management skills, ability to select, hire and retain talent. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members. Track record of developing high performing teams >20 people
- Good understanding of real-time systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based computing
- Outstanding full-stack technology expertise. Knowledge of different programming languages (PHP and React.js are preferable) at an operational level.
- Experience of managing team members distantly
- Interested in gaming and cybersports fields; active gamer (preferable)
- English - B1+
