We are looking for Internal Audit Manager. This job will work closely with the other Internal Audit Managers to execute audits and will keep the Audit Director informed of progress and issues as and when necessary. The successful candidate will need to ensure audit reports are delivered with high quality and on schedule and budget. This entails a high degree of stakeholder management, including stakeholders within Internal Audit and the business. The ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, problem solve, deal with ambiguity, and apply data analytics are imperative for success in this role.
You will be:
- Conducts and leads operational and financial audits across all Mars segments, but with initial focus on Mars Global Services, which will encompass: identifying and evaluating risks, performing audit procedures, conducting interviews, reviewing evidence, preparing work papers and reports, providing recommendations to improve the internal control environment using Mars Inc. policies and procedures, professional judgement and experience.
- Provides consulting services on governance, risks and controls to the organization’s management and other stakeholders.
- Provides key input to development of the risk-based annual internal audit plan.
- Develops and maintains productive team-oriented stakeholder and peer relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
- Prepared written presentations / reports in English
- Worked in a team as a team member and team lead
- Provided and received meaningful feedback and acted on it
We expect:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or related field: accounting, engineering, computer science or a similar field
- Analysis and presentation of data using data analytics methodologies and tools
- 4+ years in external or internal audit or in a controllership or shared service organization.
- Big4 or FMCG experience preferred.
- Non finance experience also considered; e.g. Specialized Services, Operations, Effectiveness Teams.
- Fluent English
