Introduction: At IBM, our Project Managers excel by leading and coordinating a project team’s overall performance, scope, cost, and deliverables. Your Role and Responsibilities: This specialty is responsible for leading project team(s) in delivering a complex solution to the client which uses services and offerings, consulting and managed services by using the appropriate project profit and terms and conditions for the project according to the project charter, project agreement or contract.
They have overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes integrating work breakdown structures, applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and financial and technical risk management.
They are responsible for managing all project resources, including subcontractors, remote delivery resources where applicable.
They are to ensure the optimal use of technical work products, reference architectures and service offering subject matter experts.
They are responsible for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team(s) and the client.
They provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the client.
Responsibilities:
- Client facing role, сommunication with the customer, management of their expectations
- Providing order reporting on the progress of tasks and the project as a whole
- Organization of external and internal meetings, creation and transfer of the necessary materials and documents
- Ensuring the payment process (Acceptance certificates, invoices, Torg-12, Equipment transfer certificates, etc.)
- Resolution of conflict situations with clients and within delivery teams
- Creation and maintenance of project documentation (org chart, contacts, initial presentation, minutes of meetings, etc.)
- Creation and maintenance of a project environment for the team and the customer (Box, Slack, etc.)
- Project planning, updating project plans
- Risk Management
- Supplier management, supply management if necessary (coordination of delivery times, work with POs, invoices)
- Resource planning, task distribution, task execution control (project status tracking) (resource plans, including WBS, etc.)
- Financial planning, installation of the expenditure part of projects
- Person on this position was performing tech leading role in projects where IBM is delivering set of project-based activities to be paid by client after deliverables and acceptance act signature. Role also implies close daily interlocks with client on Russian language to discuss technical details, present solution, answer technical questions.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- high/university degree in IT area;
- PM experience in complex projects and customer-facing roles;
- certification in Project Management (PMP, Agile), understanding of ITIL;
- fluent Russian and at least intermediate English languages;
- onsite work in Moscow
