Job profile for Head of Tax
As Head of Tax you will be an integral part of the Finance Department.
You will be in charge of tax compliance of our entities domiciled across the globe (incl. both income tax and indirect taxes) with the help of local service providers.
We are looking for a versatile individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who is interested in new challenges and professional development in a fast-moving international e-commerce environment.
Responsibilities

Manage the entire Indirect Tax (VAT, GST etc.) and US income tax (both on federal and state-level) process with the help of local service providers

Preparation and submission of compliant tax returns for a number of legal entities

Ensure all tax payments are made on time and refunds requested in a timely manner

Identify areas to automate wherever possible to streamline tax compliance process

Lead tax reviews and audit of the account reconciliations

Service other departments of Accel Club with professional tax advice

Manage relationships with various service providers
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline

At least 5 years of relevant experience (preferably in tax departments of Big 4)

Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to deliver timely, accurate results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Prior experience in US taxes or EU VAT is a strong plus
-
English - at least upper-intermediate
