The Tax and Legal Services practice of PwC Moscow is looking for a Senior Consultant in its Customs group.
The Tax and Legal Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Moscow is looking for a Senior Consultant in its rapidly growing dedicated Customs group.
Description of the services provided by the Customs group:
- Advising major Russian and foreign companies on various customs matters such as customs valuation, customs classification, country of origin, etc.
- Conducting customs projects (customs diagnostics, consulting and compliance).
Job responsibilities:
- Analysis of customs legislation;
- Analysis of court and administrative practice;
- Participation in meetings with the customs authorities and other governmental bodies of the Russian Federation;
- Drafting reports, presentations on customs issues in both Russian and English;
- Participation in tax (customs) audits of companies;
- Organization of work of junior colleagues, checking the results of their work;
- Training of junior staff;
- Interaction with colleagues from other departments or PwC Russia and companies of the PwC network in other countries;
- Preparation of materials for client meetings, seminars;
- Preparation of contracts with the clients;
- Ensuring compliance with risk management procedures;
- Assistance with invoicing procedures.
Qualification:
- 2-3+ years of professional experience;
- Higher education in Economics, Customs, Logistics or Law;
- Excellent knowledge of customs procedures and legislation;
- Knowledge of Russian Accounting standards;
- Good working knowledge of the English language: both verbal and written;
- Ability to adapt to an intensive work environment;
- Ability to supervise people and projects, meet deadlines and deliver quality results;
- Client service orientation and creativity;
- Career and success orientation;
- Ability to work in a team.
