The role supports the sourcing activities of the Russian Align Tech Branch , including market analysis, RFP/RFI development and execution, vendor negotiation, contract development, and implementation, run procurement operations, identifying sourcing opportunities, overseeing complex projects and provide direction to other team members and stakeholders as required.
In this role, you will…
- Work with the stakeholders (RnD Program / Departments , Facilities, IT, HR, etc) within the organization to support their sourcing demands, manage on site services agreements with relevant suppliers , ensure Customer satisfaction.
- Manage existing vendor landscape making sure acceptance certificates are signed, invoices are paid on time, existing contracts are renewed
- Optimize all procurements (quality, cost and delivery) in compliance with procurement policies of and with the customer’s contracts, in order to keep or improve the margin and manage the risks.
- The role covers multiple sourcing categories (e.g. IT/SW development services, outsourcing contingents workers services in any commodities , Office Supplies, Facility, Catering, Training, Travel, IT, etc)
- Prepare the tender phase, to build solution with suppliers, ensure preliminary negotiations, collect commodity purchases price to better define price of suppliers of goods and services.
- Reasonable for all purchases involved in the project until the end of contractual obligations of providers with a specific focus on risk management, assess supplier risks.
- Conduct legal and ethical business relationships with suppliers.
- Track performance, negotiate prompt corrective actions to address any non-conformity from suppliers.
- Performs supplier availability and capability market studies.
- Develops and distributes Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluating and consolidating responses.
- Develop, communicate and implement long-term purchasing plans including supplier development, contracting strategies, inventory management, cost management, quality improvement, procurement system .
- Coaches stakeholders on sourcing and contracting execution
- Assists senior team members in preparing management reports and conducting regular team meetings.
- Identify and plan for future demand through coordination with supply chain and procurement teams across the global organization.
- Manages vendor relationships and establishes strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
- Establishes vendor management process and scorecard, and conducts periodic business reviews.
- Leads internal compliance process for adhering to sourcing and procurement practices.
- Facilitate the implementation of process improvements.
In this role, you’ll need …
- Higher education
- 3 years of experience in vendor management, sourcing, supply chain management, procurement, in mid-sized to large organizations
- Purchasing Functional competencies (Cost, Supplier management, cost analysis, Market analysis)
- Demonstrable experience in initiating and managing sourcing projects and initiatives
- Previous experience in supervising procurement activities
- Experience in running negotiation sessions with suppliers and service providers
- Ability to form and maintain effective internal and external relationships
- Excellent communication skills (including English)
- Solid understanding of contracts from development and managing execution to renewal with negotiation skills and experience
- Knowledge and skills : any procurement applications , Ariba system, MS office.
