The leading Russian company Top-10 (production of films and TV-series) from Moscow
We are looking for a Financial Controller / Executive Director. Ideal match would be a young professional at the beginning of their career.
Description:
The shooting of the film lasts 90 shifts, during which budget control is required in scenes involving 50-500 people. The company was founded in 2005, all projects are high-budget, including historical plots and battle scenes. Production is always outsourced.
Tasks:
- Full financial planning of production sites: annual budgeting, semi-annual landings, quarterly forecasting;
- Building models of new projects;
- Control over the expenditure of funds during production;
- Building of budgeting, forecasting and landing processes at the entire Company level (setting schedules, key stages and deadlines)
- Conclusion and compliance with contracts related to the filming process;
- Coordination with rental companies to promote the film;
- Building reports corresponding to the treasury support of the project, if state money is involved in its making;
- Preparation and control of budgets / forecasts, analysis of deviations, assessment of performance indicators;
- Timely providing Company's top-management with the most up-to-date information.
- Maintaining the company's activities (sale of rights, office rental, relations with a subsidiary company for the production of computer graphics) takes an absolute minimum in the candidate's area of responsibility;
Skills:
- Knowledge of business intelligence principles;
- Understanding main business' resources planning and cost control
- Change management;
- Cash-flow planning;
- Business case preparation.
