About the role
We are looking for experienced and highly motivated Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) experts to drive one of the following ESG streams: responsible supply chain/ green bonds issuance support/ ESG standards, policies development and external stakeholder engagement. The role will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align on each ESG stream. The role is reporting to ESG Programs Lead.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and update policies and procedures related to one of the streams (Green Finance Framework/Responsible Source Framework/etc)
• Participate in non-financial audits/due diligence and regular monitoring for ESG metrics;
• Communicate with external consultants on topics related to the stream;
• Assist with multi-year ESG roadmap execution and updating;
• Perform peer analysis and identify benchmarking indicators;
• Manage cross-functional projects related to the stream;
• Respond to ESG inquiries from customers, suppliers, exchange, other stakeholders;
• Continuously identify emerging ESG trends and requirements to consider and incorporate in working processes;
• Participate in ESG-related activities, internal and external initiatives, working groups;
• Prepare presentations to ESG committee.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in an ESG related role;
• Demonstrated interest in sustainability;
• Specific knowledge in ESG bonds issuance (CBI/ICMA/Taxonomies) or responsible supply chain or ESG standards, policies development (optional / preferred);
• Experience in ESG reporting and disclosures;
• Excellent analytical skills and conceptual thinking aptitude;
• Up to date with global ESG trends;
• Expertise in building rapport across business units and corporate functions to implement cross-functional projects;
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
• Ideal candidate understands business drivers and operational processes and has experience in metals and mining industry (optional / preferred).
