Main requirements:
- Good knowledge of IT governance principles with a particular focus on ITIL principles
- Good understanding of modern principles of software development, methodologies and frameworks, knowledge of SDLC
- Acquaintance with the current stack of technologies used for development (languages, frameworks, databases)
- Understanding of basic principles of building corporate architecture and architecture of solutions
- Good knowledge of modern technologies and trends for infrastructure deployment and virtualization
- Understanding of technologies to ensure scalability and fault tolerance of systems
- Strong leadership skills, business oriented
- Ability to find compromise solutions between stability of IT systems and products time-to-market
Tech stack in the company:
Java, Oracle Database, .NET, PostgreSQL
Duties:
- Management of IT Department team (recruitment, development, evaluation etc.)
- Development of IT strategy and its implementation, in accordance with the goals of the company
- Development and support of corporate policies and standards that guarantee maximum efficiency and minimum costs associated with the acquisition and use of information systems
- Regular assessment of existing technologies, personnel and information systems, search for new solutions and technologies, recommendations for changes; control of compliance of information systems with internal standards and standards of SG Group
- Development and support of system architecture, development of standards and protocols for data exchange, communication facilities, software and systems interaction
- Ensuring business continuity
- Managing of IT budget of the company
- Control over the development, ongoing maintenance and communication of systems, control of accompanying documentation for applications, policies and procedures
- Providing to company’ employees, including management, information on plans, policies and technologies of IT Department
- Control that level of information security is in-line with SG Group standards. Realization of IT security technical measures.
