As a Philips GDP Trainee, you will join a 2-year program, in which you will be fulfilling up to 3 challenging assignments in different areas within Philips. A tailored learning journey will be offered over the course of the program, as well as ongoing ‘learning on the job’ and learning from each other by leveraging the power of the global graduate cohort. As a GDP Trainee, we offer you a structured approach for rotations with you being in the driver’s seat to determine your 2nd and 3rd assignments. Whether you want to stay close to your core or explore new areas, or anywhere else in between. Whether you want to work towards becoming a specialist or a generalist; whether you want to work in the field of complex medical devices, connected care or personal health: you get the opportunity to explore, contribute, learn and receive support while doing so.

After two years of accelerated learning and gaining valuable experience, you are again in the driver seat of your next step. Working together you will get the chance to use the network you have built, and your Career Centre experience, to find the perfect next step in your Philips career.

During the first rotation, you will be assigned to Ecommerce Team, within the Personal Health division. You will be responsible for:

  • Setting up a reporting system of collecting, processing, and presenting sales information

  • Collecting, compiling, and presenting the information/statistics for specific DTC KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, CPO, ROI)

  • Looking deeply into campaigns performance data and seeking opportunities to optimize them

  • Providing Digital and Direct To Consumer team members with digital data relevant for the decision-making process

  • Preparing broad analytical data, taking into account information from the market, market research agencies, and other sources in order to deepen understanding of consumers for the whole Digital and DTC team

  • Helping other Digital capabilities (Search, CRM, Performance, etc.) on building reporting systems relevant to their areas of responsibility

  • Revising consumer journey and proactively working on UX improving process

  • Seeking for and implementing digital tools aimed at DTC sales growth

  • Proactively sharing digital expertise with team members and cross-functions

Your next rotations will depend on your interests and capabilities, but you can expect to be moved to one of the following areas:

  • Events

  • Marketing Operations

  • Insight & Analytics

  • Product Marketing

  • Sales

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Recently or almost graduated with a Bachelor/Master’s degree in Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Data Analytics, Brand Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, International Relations, ?or equivalent

  • Max 2 years of work experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, so you can persuade colleagues at all ranks in the organization

  • International experience or an international mindset

  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager and ambitious

  • Speak and write fluent English and Russian

Recruitment process

If you are interested to join the Philips Graduate Development Program, please apply online latest 17th October 2021, applications that come in after this deadline can not be taken into account.

  • Upload your CV and/or motivation

  • In week 42/43 you will be informed whether you passed the pre-selection round and if yes you will be invited to perform an online test.

  • In week 44 you will be informed whether you are selected for the next round, the virtual video pitch.

  • In week 46 you will be informed whether you belong to the best performers, you will be invited to the final virtual assessment center, which will take place on week 47. During this event, you will work on several challenging exercises together with similar-minded graduates. Of course, we will also provide you with more information on the Graduate Development Program and the assignments. This is the final step in the selection process. Early next week (48), we will inform you of the outcome.

  • The start date will be at the beginning or mid of February 2022
