Our truly diverse and international team is looking for a Junior Printing Hardware Category Manager for Russia also known as Junior Product Manager.
You will be responsible for both product and profit and loss management of HP’s market-leading printing portfolio. Your day-to-day challenges would range from market and competitor analysis, launching new products, delivering inspiring customer presentations, advising local sales teams to deal management.
As a recent graduate (you must hold an university degree obtained in the last 12 months), at HP you can expect to connect with brilliant people who help you perform at your best and work with a team that’s as passionate about solving challenges as it is about developing solutions.
Please note we offer a temporary contract for 2 years to start with.
Key Responsibilities:
- To mange the entire Printing Hardware business in Russia (Revenue, Gross Margin, market share)
- To secure the needed HP Share of Business inside the channel (both distributors and final tier partners)
- To be the advocate of HP printing strategy inside HP Russia team
- Make both the short-term tactical and long-term strategic business planning for Russia
- Define the product portfolio, prices, product offering and product mix
- Lead the execution of strategic initiatives for the printing team
- Establish relationships and represent the team with sales force and other partners at a senior level.
- Act as the right hand of Russia Managing Director when it comes to printing tasks: reviews; growth plans; operational challenges
Education and Experience Required:
- MUST HAVE: Bachelor's or master’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, International Business or similar obtained in the last 12 months
- Consumer and/or Commercial partner management expertise OR End User Account management preferred
Skills Required:
- Understanding of the IT industry, computing vendors, and channel business.
- Business planning skills.
- Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high-complexity business planning and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to tailor messaging to various internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.
- Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners.
- Leadership skills and cross-functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing).
- Professionalism and teamwork.
- Fluency in English and Russian language.
