What you’ll do:
- Record any acquisitions or sales of fixed assets (demo, internals) and their depreciation in RU GAAP (1c) and US GAAP (Oracle)
- Conducts timely physical inventories as per local legislation requirements and Cisco policy requirements
- Assign tag numbers to fixed assets
- Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures and forms for the recordation of fixed assets
- Ensure compliance with FA and other related corporate policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with local legislation requirements
- Represent the organization in any audits related to fixed assets
- Perform analysis related to FA when requested by management
- Upload required data to Oracle on month close
- Checking correctness of IC transactions booked in regards with Demo/Internals
- Perform BS reconciliation in TRECS for FA and Customs Prepaid accounts on a monthly basis
- Perform US GAAP to RU GAAP reconciliation on a monthly basis
- Perform 1c register for car insurance (OSAGO/ KASKO) and generates appropriate transactions in RU GAAP with further upload into US GAAP
- Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets
- Recommend to management whether fixed assets should be disposed of
- Request from IT the list of notebooks older than 4 years and proceed to further scrap
- Participation in calls, projects related to FA
Who you’ll work with:
We are GAR (General Accounting and Reporting) team that works in collaboration with different teams to ensure correct accounting transactions are posted in RU GAAP and US GAAP, appropriate accounts are properly reconciled and explained. The main POC within Cisco are from GTC (Global Tax and Customs), Supply chain, IC team, IT.
Our requirements for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent
- +5 years of fixed asset accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of RU GAAP and US GAAP in terms of FA
- Good Excel skills
- Experienced user of 1c and Oracle (FA and GL)
- Advanced English skill
- Ability to work under pressure
- Fast learner and agile
