Haldor Topsoe is looking for a chemical engineer to be part of our engineering team placed in Moscow.
You will join a global group of highly skilled engineers with a passion for advanced technical solutions for the chemical industry. The ideal candidate is able to challenge us with new ideas as well as quickly learn from Haldor Topsoe’s vast experience within process engineering and technology development.
You are expected to independently interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis, be a team player, be self-motivated and have a good understanding for the need of prioritizing working tasks.

We now offer a unique position as Senior Process Engineer for conceptual and basic design targeted to implementation the full portfolio of Haldor Topsoe’s chemical technologies.

If you join our company, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the field of process engineering and be involved interdisciplinary project groups. Your daily work will involve regular contact with our offices in Denmark and India. Assignments abroad in connection with sales and clarification meetings, troubleshooting and start-up activities is part of the job for up to 100 days of travel a year can be expected.
Your responsibilities
- Process design and engineering
- Process Flow Diagrams
- Piping &Instrument Diagrams
- Equipment design
- Operational guidelines
- Review of Detail engineering and Vendor documentation
- Start-up and troubleshooting
- PID walk though
- Commissioning and start-up of licensed technologies
- General on-site assistance to customers
- Training of plant operators and shift leaders
- Proposals and revamp studies
- Technical assistance to sales managers
- Communication and interacting with customers’ stakeholders.

Your qualifications
To be a successful candidate for the job, you have a higher degree in Chemical engineering. You have +4 years of experience from the relevant industry. Have a flair for engineering design work and unit operation. It is a mandatory requirement that you speak and write efficiently in English.
