  • Silverbird aims to provide payment functionality and banking services for international merchants - wholesale businesses engaged in cross border trade. We provide a modern alternative to global banks, through our platform, designed to offer global banking accounts, international payments, multi-currency banking operations and customer-centric compliance support, along with other value-adding services to support international trade.

Working in global trade finance since 2014, we have developed an experience-based, detailed and ambitious vision of modern banking for international trade. We were in the industry, developing and nourishing our business model of “a global payment bank for international merchants” when neobanking entered the landscape. With the benefit of the latest European regulation changes, we conceptualised Silverbird in 2017: a UK-based non-banking payment institution for our existing customers from many parts of the developing world.

Combining our access to global merchants with digital technology, Silverbird currently enjoys a wealth of support from European banks and non-banking partners in building its payment infrastructure. A part of the growing neobanks movement, Silverbird is on a mission to build a B2B digital bank in the largest and arguably the most profitable area of the global business: international trade.

Our business vision: Silverbird’s vision is simple: to make international merchants and the global banking system friends again. We plan to give international merchants the business centric payment interface capable of to supporting their chosen or their currently evolved trade structure. We plan to give our customers tailored access to the global banking system and the ability to choose from a menu of banking products around the globe in one single digital interface. We are going to develop a product and technology to make the global banking system merchant-friendly and able to co-evolve with the demands of modern international trade.

There are no certain divisions now, because we are a classical start-up. Working at the SilverBird now is challenging, demanding and highly rewarding (we mean not only the salaries, but an opportunity to get an option). In such a dynamic environment we pride ourselves on being central to the future success of the SilverBird.

We continuously strive to deliver a world class service and support to our key people, to do this we seek out those who are creative, ambitious, bold and passionate about achieving outstanding results.

We place great importance on having a ‘can-do’ positive attitude within our HR community and only hire people who can demonstrate their ability to maintain such an attitude in a demanding environment.
