Candidate Requirements (SDP – Developer Role)
The successful candidate shall carry out the activities listed below (1.1. Software development; and 1.2. Ensure code quality and working software) and provide the specified deliverables.
The successful candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory requirement). Experience with the following is a mandatory requirement:

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks / libraries (e.g. Bootstrap, JQuery);
-
Web services (WebAPI / REST) and Windows Services;
-
SQL Server and ORM frameworks (e.g. Entity Framework);
-
Unit / Integration testing; and
-
Work in agile environment (Scrum or Kanban). Experience with the following is desirable:
-
Background processing, job schedulers (e.g. Hangfire);
-
Message queues (e.g. RabbitMQ);
-
Kerberos authentication and asymmetric encryption (PGP and PKI);
-
Distributed transactions, asynchronous programming, and service level integration; and
-
Secure coding, SAST tools (e.g. Fortify) and APM tools (e.g. AppDynamics).
1.1. Software development
1.1.1. The successful candidate shall design, develop, and maintain existing and new SW ranging from client-side development using Angular, HTML, and CSS, to server-side code using C# and ASP.NET MVC, in conjunction with Microsoft SQL Server.
1.1.2. The successful candidate shall be able to translate requirements, mock-ups and wireframes into functioning front-end code and/or server-side code, working with the technical lead(s) and the business analysts to clarify said requirements.
1.1.3. The successful candidate shall perform bug analysis and fix bugs found during development and in the production system.
1.1.4. The successful candidate shall be experienced with working with a code versioning tool in multiple feature, bug and release branches.
1.1.5. The successful candidate shall keep up-to-date on best practices and new technologies.
1.1.6. The successful candidate shall be experienced in the following technology stack, so that they can support the project in a quick manner:
• .NET framework (.NET, .netcore, C#), REST API • Microsoft SQL Server
• TFS, git

1.2. Ensure code quality and working software
1.2.1. The successful candidate shall write readable, extensible, testable code, while being mindful of performance requirements.
1.2.2. The successful candidate shall create, maintain, and run unit tests for both new and existing code, with a goal of delivering defect-free and well-tested code to QA.
1.2.3. The successful candidate shall fix issues with the code reported by static code check tools like Fortify.
1.2.4. The successful candidate shall write and maintain documentation for new and existing features. 1.3. Well-organized way of working
1.3.1. The successful candidate shall work with technical lead(s) and the project manager to create and adhere to schedules, while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
1.3.2. The successful candidate shall make use of work item tracking tools like Microsoft TFS.
