Honeywell Connected Plant Line of business is a leading provider of software offerings in the Process Industry which includes Oil and Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, Paper, Metals and Pharma industry. These offerings drive measurable business results for customer. The business is focused on outcome-based software solutions and engineering services, converting data into actions for the customer which enables greater reliability, safety and uptime.
Position will provide leadership to all Project Managers and the CIS regional services leader, within the region to ensure Honeywell Connected Plant delivers best in class solutions to meet customer expectations whilst achieving safety, quality, schedule, and financial goals.
Principal Responsibilities includes, but are not limited to:
- Own and deliver on the overall CIS Revenues and Gross Profit targets. Ensure EAC>0 across the region and drive Change Orders
- Responsible for Project Management discipline and compliance with internal processes and best practices for the region
- Drives the business to meet the AOP expectations and to ensure forecasting accuracy. Monitors and reports the backlog as required.
- Work with HCP and HPS sales organizations to grow the business.
- Provide functional leadership and guidance to Honeywell Connected Plant region program and project management staff.
- Supports the effort to effectively train and develop Honeywell Connected Plants project management talent within the region.
- Drive the differentiation value of Honeywell Connected Plants’ project execution with its customers, based on project execution excellence and its inherent value proposition.
- Supports the implement the necessary governance to ensure that all projects are executed per best practices, standards and guidelines.
- Ensure that executive management has adequate oversight into critical projects with anticipated risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance by the project management organization to the strategic operating plans and annual operating budgets.
- Be responsible to liaise with other lines of business within Honeywell, supporting the overall Honeywell Goals and strategic direction of the High Growth Region
The incumbent will be the first level of management escalation for key customers in the CIS region.
The position is a direct staff position.
Reporting The successful applicant will have a direct reporting line to the Regional Business Leader, Europe and CIS.
Skills / Experience Essential:
- Good understanding of Honeywell revenue recognition process
- Good understanding of Honeywell’s main business drivers and expectations from the Project Management and services groups
- Highly energized and motivated, A catalyst for change
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- Energized by working under pressure and with a drive for results.
- Able to influence by leadership
- Excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
- 10 years of experience in Connected Plants business serving the relevant industries
- 10 years of experience of hands on advanced applications products and engineering and consulting services market
- 10 years of experience and knowledge of risk management methodologies and processes for large Advanced Applications or Mega IT Software projects into relevant industries
- 5 years experience in managing and developing experienced professional-management level staff
- Excellent written and oral English language communication skills required
