DESCRIPTION

RemedyLogic AI team is looking for an exceptional, motivated software engineer and team leader to implement a medical imaging computer vision system as an integral part of the company’s product.

This is an ambitious undertaking to create a new medical device category and is replete with technical challenges. You will take an exciting leadership role in a team and work with world-class engineers, business leaders, and medical experts while you architect and code for our computer vision platform.

THE ROLE

You will be part of a passionate team whose missions is to push the frontier of computer vision in medical imaging reducing the diagnostic error rate globally. This is a great opportunity for you to innovate in this space by developing AI systems, deploying them in the cloud, and integrating them into our products.

In this role, you will be leading a local AI team implementing complex algorithms in computer vision and related disciplines. You will translate business and functional requirements into working code. You will build large-scale infrastructures to facilitate using a large amount of data to train and test computer vision systems.

You will report to our Head of Data Science in NYC and work closely with our Head of Product to ensure new feature prioritization and seamless integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Local team leadership planning and prioritizing workload and R&D.
• Development and optimization of CV models within the medical imaging space.
• Work with Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Bringing the models from research into production and deployment.
• Ensuring the clinical efficacy of the solutions by working closely with medical experts.
• Work with our data labeling team to ensure integrity of the labeling process and output.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in building production-scale system/algorithm in one of the following domains: computer vision, deep learning, or machine learning.
• Strong in Python, Linux, Git.
• Experience with libraries such as PyTouch, Tensorflow, Keras, etc.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen quickly.
• Advanced English.
• Experience with Docker and web services

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science or related field focused on computer vision and deep learning.
• Strong analytical and mathematical background, especially in optimization.
• Experience investigating, designing, prototyping, and productizing new and innovative computer vision system solutions.
• Experience working with image-based deep learning and computer vision frameworks in in medical imaging.
• Basic knowledge of C++.
• Exceptional writing and verbal communications skills.
• Experience in architecture, including familiarity with object-oriented patterns.
