THE ROLE
We’re looking for an AP Senior Analyst / Accountant to join our Wella finance team. You will be responsible for accounts payable, providing financial and administrative support. In addition, you will be completing payments and control expenses by receiving transactions, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
Reports to: AP Manager Russia & CIS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures;
- Handle queries related to invoices;
- Reconcile the AP ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted;
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing AP status;
- Process and interpret data;
- Provide analytical support;
- Ensure legal requirements respect and service quality;
- Perform reconciliations with suppliers;
- Prepare payment register for processing;
- Check original documents to ensure correctness;
- Back-up process of T&E Reports
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- 1-3 years of experience in a finance function, preferably in reporting and accounting in a matrix organization;
- Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or other relevant experience;
- Intermediate level of English;
- Experience in SAP;
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office – MS Excel, Word;
- Extensive knowledge about accounting and AP procedures;
- Personal and business qualities: responsibility, ability to work in a team, ability to work with a large amount of information;
- Willingness to collaborate with different functions;
- Self-motivated and results-driven
Desirable:
- Experience of working in ARIBA;
- Experience of working in Accounting Shared Centers;
- Previous experience in a highly-regulated industry
