The Application Engineer will collect user requirements, define optimal solution and present it to the user and be involved in promoting solutions to new users, training delivery and implementations. This role will be based in our Moscow office working with a small local team and a larger team spread around the world. Travel will be required to service our user base in Russia.

Day to day Responsibilities:

• Supporting product and license sales with benefit oriented, workflow specific demonstrations that promote Company`s solutions for MicroStation and Civil in close collaboration with our sales and technical teams.
• Enabling successful user outcomes through our User Advancement program by maintaining close contact with local users and giving relevant feedback both on software and sales requirements.
• Assisting with reseller technical development within the region.
• Presenting workshops and seminars as required.
• Assisting in enhancing product quality and standards development. Working closely with product development groups based on local software requirements and user input.
• Maintaining awareness of relevant industry trends, best practices and government regulations.
• Be able to define and convey account-specific configuration & enhancement needs to meet specific business requirements.
• Conducting remote and in person trainings, workshops and seminar both internally and externally to end users and system administrators.
• Assisting with solution implementation.
• Assisting in the creation of project proposals for both fixed fee and time and material projects.
• Flexible attitude and willing/ able to travel.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Civil/ Construction Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 5+ Years relevant industry experience, incl. knowledge of BIM workflows and processes.
• 2+ Years’ experience with CREDO, IndorCAD or Robur civil design software is preferred.
• 2+ Years design experience in Road or Railway corridor design/construction is required.
• Experience with Civil software is a must; ability to effectively demonstrate Company`s solutions is an advantage.
• Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills including client facing demonstrations, with the ability to explain complex issues and solutions to audiences of different levels of knowledge and seniority.
• Outgoing and extrovert personality with strong team working and interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Fluency in Russian and English, oral and written; additional languages advantageous
