QR Experience is a Boutique travel and concierge agency focused on inbound and outbound travel between Qatar and Russia.
The Experiences Manager will direct, operate, and administer QR Experience travel programs, adventures and events for private and corporate clients, manage business travel and organize the work of travel coordinator.
Reporting to the Managing director QR Experience in Moscow and the Director of Operations at the Doha Office, the Experiences Manager will work with internal product specialists as well as destination concierge partners to deliver extraordinary travel experience to customers through tailor made and experiential programs. Experiences Manager is expected to be savvy on current travel and lifestyle trends, be instrumental in providing customers sound recommendations and ensuring they are fully satisfied with the overall product and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and achieve business plans and KPIs related to the Experiences Business Stream with Qatari and Russian stakeholders in line with the Moscow office
- Lead the tours, adventures and events product development and drive sales and relationship building with clients and key stakeholders
- Manage enquiries for travel and lifestyle related services
- Plan the end-to-end components of customers’ travels which include but not limiting to, curating customized itineraries, arranging flights, accommodations and land services and ultimately, a post-trip follow up
- Research, negotiate, and secure rate with airlines, car rental companies, hotels, concierge and travel agencies.
- Review and ensure all contracts for appearances include necessary specifications
- Proactive research to develop opportunities and stay abreast of market trends, news and updates related to Tourism
- Create and build reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Offer strategic and locally oriented advice to Moscow office on Qatar in order to better hone business plans and opportunities issues to management and find solutions
- Coordinate and support cultural missions to Russia and Qatar and relevant events
- Identify relevant entities in both Qatar and Russia to develop and coordinate networking opportunities
- Ability to research, be resourceful, work independently and as part of team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Work closely with Marketing and Communications team on key announcements
- Support Moscow Office as needed on any tasks related to the Experiences Business Stream Scope of Work
- Monitor, supervise and direct the work of the travel coordinator
Requirements:
- Permanent residence in Qatar
- A university diploma is required; a degree in an appropriate field of study (e.g., hospitality, travel) is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality, tourism or a related field is also required
- Must be extremely well-organized, able to multitask and prioritize
- Need a positive attitude, attention to detail, patience, and persistence
- Must have experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- English is a must/Arabic speaker is a plus
