WE ARE LOOKING FOR
QALC Manager to join the team immediately and focus on producing and organizing activities of the Qatar Arabic Language Center, taking on the paperwork in accordance with educational standards and specifications with the assistance of QR finance/legal departments and leading communication with QR team, methodologist, entities, tutors, clients. QALC Manager also to implement certification system of Arabic language proficiency into QALC project and develop/produce concepts for QALC events (format, topic, agenda, list of participants etc.).
KEY RESPONSINBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
— To prepare documents for project launch
— To develop the formats, topics and details of QALC program (courses, community development events) in cooperation with methodologist and teachers
— To prepare all the materials requested for QALC products
— To produce events – community development events; meetings with youth communities (students Arabic clubs etc.), potential clients of QALC etc.
— To produce certification system development (opening of accreditation center for Arabic language proficiency tests and certificates issuing)
— To take part in discussions on topics of QALC, to collect and process minutes of meetings
— To propose new ways and strategies for project evolution and growth
— To communicate with relevant Russian and Qatari partners
— To keep accurately all the records in database of all incoming information, statistics, prepare reports and references
REQUIRED SKILLS
Master’s degree in related fields
Background in producing educational projects (previous experience in work with
educational standards)
Experience with cloud-based document management, collaboration tools and project
management solutions
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations during rush hours
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work during evenings and holidays as needed
Advanced level of English, Arabic language (spoken/written), well-bred clear Russian speech
