WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Business Development Manager focused on the MICE sector you will be out on the road winning MICE business with focus on proactive business development and will be responsible for:
- Arranging 360 degree MICE events with a big group of people
— Managing and supporting the MICE sector with preparing quotations, itineraries and reservations
— On-the-spot logistical, operations and customer support
— Negotiation of MICE services in line with the requirements from the customer
— Spearheading MICE initiatives and new trends, suited for emerging targeted market segment
— Updating backend information of venues, suppliers, accommodation and other services, related for the MICE industry
- Fostering good relationship to hotels/suppliers
— Researching of new business opportunities, products, venues and MICE-related services
— Demonstrating high rate sales force in the MICE arena
— Preparing reports on allocated projects
— Building promotion and strategy whenever required based on external market, economic and political conditions
— Maintaining excellent business relationships with partners across the globe
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Higher education (preferably tourism,hospitality or related fields)
Genuine interest in travel and endorsed MICE background
Strong network within the travel & tourism industry
Deep knowledge of Russian tourism market, Middle East experience will be a big advantage
Experience in creating products and managing teams in luxury tourism from ground up
Strong organizational skills
Resilience to cope with long hours and pressure at peak times
Diligence, high accuracy, responsibility, attentiveness
Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
Strong English (С1/C2 must have), well-bred Russian speech
