We are a New York-based technology consulting organization. We are looking for QA automation engineers who have experience coding in typescript, and also have experience on the manual testing side as well (understanding business REQs, communicating with the team to clarify REQs, creating test plans/cases, executing tests manually…).
Communication is an extremely important factor. We need someone who will take the initiative, own a project, communicate as much as necessary to clarify REQs/affected areas, create test cases, review with the team, execute scenarios, and then take it a step further and automate.
UI Automation framework tools to Webdriver.io and TestProject.io. On the API side, we are writing the API tests in Node JS, using the Jest test framework.
UI Automation Engineer Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrate ability to understand project, analyze REQs and think beyond the written requirements for potential loopholes Demonstrate ability to create a comprehensive test plan Demonstrate ability to automate test plan using Webdriver.io.
Candidate must have at least 4 years UI Automation experience.
Candidate must have 2-3 years experience working with JS language
Preferable that candidate has 1-2 years experience automating with Webdriver.io
Would be great if candidates would also have API level testing experience.
