Hi, my name is James, i'm the Chief Marketing Officer at TradingView, the largest social network for traders and investors – used by 17 million users each month in over 170 different countries. We’re backed by top top American venture capital firms, with team members in 40+ countries around the world – speaking 20+ languages – and we’re growing in a big way.We’re looking for a writer to join our team. But not just any cookie-cutter copy-creator, we’re looking for an up-and-coming superstar. Someone who’s only a handful of years into their career but who’s already making waves with the beauty and poetry of their writing.
About you
— English native speaker;
— loves writing, clearly;
— likes, or would like to know more, about the global markets, investing and trading;
— enjoys being autonomous, working in a small yet ever-so-nimble teams;
— is not George R. R. Martin and won’t take years to produce their next masterpiece;
— has a passionate hatred for the overuse of exclamation points.
What you’d be working on
— we’re releasing new features every week and so our product blog is chocked full of new updates. We want to ensure that the brilliance of our technical work shines through in our release announcements, so you’ll be spending time making each blog post sing;
— ditto for our product pages, working with the help of our design team, you’ll go through all pages across the website (it’s a BIG site) and make our writing really stand out;
— ditto again for our content marketing initiatives and email marketing communications;
— you’ll also be the guardian angel of our brand online, writing perfect responses for ad-hoc online reviews (bit of brand reputation management involved here);
— finally, you’ll sync up with the SEO team and occasionally our PR agency, to assist on special projects. As such, a basic understanding of both would be handy.
