Academic Manager position is open to start in August 2020
Essential Requirements
A successful candidate should have solid teaching skills, good organizational skills, excellent people skills and the following:

Academic management experience (please clarify in the cover letter);

Management background ;
-
CELTA or equivalent initial qualification;
-
2 years' post-qualification experience;
-
To start asap you need to be on the territory of Russia;
The role of the Academic Manager will be to:
-
focus on students' retention, help students with problems in education, talk to parents and doing activities to increase retention;
-
supervise schools working offline - take responsibility for the areas of work assigned, making strategic decisions;
-
carry out quality observations for online classes
-
evaluate, review and revise existing programs and create new ones;
-
teach 12 ach a week in the schools assigned;
-
observe teachers and give feedback on regular basis in the frame of professional development;
-
send signals to Recruitment about possible problems/complaints;
-
work on teachers' retention;
-
orientate new teachers on the school procedures and supervising during their trial period;
-
give seminars and workshops as part of the International House program;
-
take part in placing students to groups/levels;
-
help school managers with troubleshooting;
-
conduct Open Doors, presentations and initiate other extra-curricular activities;
-
work with students' queries and complaints; monitor groups’ end of level dates, tests results and group finishing dates;
-
take part in marketing events and initiatives;
