International technology company and leading telecom solution provider is looking Wireless Terminal Digital Algorithm Expert.
Responsibilities:
- Development of innovative algorithms for next generation Wireless (5G terminals), systems. Participation in development of system level architecture of radio transmitters and receivers, estimation of feasibility, analysis of risks and difficulties.
- Focus on modern signal processing techniques in digital domain, correction of imperfection of analog devices (transceiver, modulator, power amplifiers, filter, antenna tuner).
- Research and simulation of digital signal processing algorithms, such as adaptive filtering, nonlinear pre-distorters and equalizers, I/Q correction, PAPR reduction, phase noise compensation, etc.
- Implementation of developed algorithms with Matlab/Python/C++ and verification in the lab. Working close with FPGA/ASIC/DSP designers, preparing proposals for algorithm complexity reduction.
- Ideas for products that solve real customer problems among algorithm engineering.
- Cooperation with R&D and product engineers, business trips to China
General requirements:
- Master/PhD degree in Telecommunications, Radio Physics, Digital Signal Processing, Information Transmission, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent with a special focus on signal transmission, receiving and processing technologies.
- Experience in wireless communication or computer science
- Linear algebra and matrix computations
- Experience in algorithm development and practical skills in programming (Matlab/ Python or C/C++ or others)
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant working experience, especially in industry applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Important skills that will be considered as a plus:
- Knowledge of mathematics (statistics, regression, random processes, probability theory), familiar with neural networks and other nonlinear regression approaches.
- Stochastic and meta-heuristic optimization methods
- Familiar with Matlab/Simulink and toolboxes (Digital Signal Processing, Communication, Filter Design, etc). Experience in algorithm implementation with C/C++ languages, interfacing with Matlab (mex files).
- Understanding FPGA/ASIC design flow, knowledge of DSP/CPU architectures.
- Understanding analog front-end link and basic properties.
- Familiar with signal generation and analysis equipment (spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, etc).
- Openness, proactivity, initiative, open minded, interpersonal communication skills, team working.
- Winner of Math/programming competitions.
