POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The role of the Global Functions Technology Solutions (GFTS) Application Portfolio Manager will be vital to the success of managing RUK GFTS technology application portfolio. GFTS application portfolio manager will be responsible for technology compliance for all applications in RUK portfolio including application lifecycle management and CI/CD platform setup . This role also assumes oversight of production support function being accountable for Production Support level of service as well as perform project management and supervising of group of projects for development/integration/implementation software applications within RUK GFTS . Ensure budget tracking, schedule, compliance, implementation quality and Business satisfaction
Job Responsibilities:
• Deliver technology solutions to complex, enterprise level programs, managing the design, development, implementation, dependencies, risks and controls elements of the lifecycle.
• CI/CD platform setup and support, application lifecycle management /Release management for existing apps.
• Work closely with L2,L3 Production Support team , guide them and being a first point of escalation for business clients.
• BAO / BAO support role for local vendors.
• Lead software development teams of both permanent and vendor resources. Both on and offshore.
• Responsible for building and managing relationships with vendors who supply products and services to Citi and ensuring they meet or exceed their contractual obligations.
• Lead project and application management standards adherence.
• Communicate project timelines and milestones; obtain senior management feedback; understand potential technical speed bumps and client’s true concerns/needs.
• Budget management, including identifying and realizing productivity improvements.
• Manage business/client relationships with the business contacts; build and sustain strong relationships with these client groups.
• Work with domain Architects and Business Analysts in design & product selection.
• Work in a horizontal manner across multiple disciplines/organizations at a local and regional level (GFTS/Franchise level)
• Influence stakeholders and participant teams towards the same goals and same path of execution
• Ensure execution and implementation of Technology programs and projects are performed to the appropriate standards compliant with defined technology strategy, standard procedures and policies;
• Ensure full adherence to Institutional TI policies, Framework Standards and Corporate Policies;
• Ensure satisfactory risks and controls
• Ensure there are “no surprises” with regular communication to the stakeholders on programs and projects execution and business critical milestones delivery;
• Business updates on programs and projects status. Liaison with business stakeholders and other tech partners on program deliverables and business critical issues;
• Financial control over running programs of projects, monthly reporting and forecasting, budget/forecast/actuals variance analysis;
• work on GFTS Russia target architecture including a Road Map of transition from existing/current state by leveraging existing Global/regional solutions and by working side by side with regional architects;
• Ensure that all activities are properly documented and formalized;
• Regular status reports preparation on program activities
• Regular interaction with direct supervisor: information on ongoing activities, making suggestions, participation in the Russia’s technology development strategy;
• Searching for opportunities and making suggestions for process improvement.
Knowledge/Experience:
• More than 5 years banking experience;
• Experience in IT project/program management;
• Demonstrated success track in managing multi-project implementations in a multi-geographical environment.
• Experience in system implementations (from specifications to actual roll-outs) and project management;
• Running projects on formalized software development lifecycle methodologies;
• Higher Technical education desired;
• Understanding of the following technologies is preferable:
o Microsoft Products/OS, desktop and servers
o Networking fundamentals
o Application architectures
o Cryptography techniques
o Web design and programming principles.
Qualifications:
• BA, B.Sc. or equivalent in any Business related subject ;
• Project management, software development experience, Application Architecture, Application management;
• Knowledge of language(s) in addition to English an advantage.
