Position Purpose & Summary
This key position enables Cargill Animal Nutrition(CAN) Eastern Europe(EE) to achieve business goals by offering innovative products, concepts and services to targetted customers in key selected markets and segments. The person in this role is responsible to lead the specie Strategic Marketing Technology(SMT) team, both on marketing , technology and technology aplication side, in close coordination with the sales, additives and nutrition teams, leveraging Animal Nutrition and Health(ANH) new products, services and solutions(NPSS).
Principal Accountabilities:
NPSS implementations (Local and global) 40%
This leaders follow and understand the industry and consumer trends and uses this knowledge to anticipated long term customer needs
Responsible for planning the delivery, launch and management of products and services portfolios on technical and marketing sides
Responsible for building specie yearly marketing plans and deliver budget in close cooperation with global SMT, commercial, nutrition and research teams
Sponsor projects following Cargill framework, in order to develop or deploy innovations.
Underlings the pillars to develop key capabilities in the organization to increase our readiness to execte the new solutions in our strategic markets.
Customer support 40%
Responsible for directly supporting key accounts and setting up strong KPI to follow up pr
Develop an industry network with key opinion leaders, R&D and experts
Builds strong communication channels with In system SMT teams
Speaking and participation at important (industry) events
Management: 20%
Lead the specie team at Eastern Europe and Region level (which can include Region lead,species solutions manager, species consultant and species solutions specialist roles)
Talent development, recruitment and succession planning of team positions
Accountable for the financials results linked to the species and the development of targeted
Achieves resources thru other by influencing key leader in the organization
Minimum Required Qualifications
• University degree / Animal Science
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Have experience in Portfolio development and management
• Demonstrated proven success in team leadership, communication and change management;
• Demonstrated proven success in project management;
• Demonstrated proven success with key accounts.
• Over 8 years demonstrated expertise and proven track record in animal nutrition, with relevant species either in Sales, marketing or Technology;
Required Skills
• Strong leadership, relationship-building and influencing skills
• Project Management skills
• Self-starter, but team player
• Well verse in the Poultry Industry in Easrter Europe (key producer, suppliers, Health and genetic companies)
• Affinity with Marketing, technology knowledge linked to the species nutrition.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Travel in Easter Europe >50%
• Fluent in English – both verbal and in writing
Preferred Qualifications
Animal Nutrition and/or Animal Science related studies.
PHD in Animal Nutrition a plus.
Good knowledge of Broiler farm management
