The Bitfury Group develops and delivers both the software and the
hardware solutions necessary for businesses, governments,
organisations and individuals to securely move an asset across the
Blockchain. The expertise of The Bitfury Group ensures successful,
easy, fast, secure and cost-effective connectivity to the Blockchain.
We are looking for a Developer and Analyst to join our team to analyse existing solutions and influence architecture, development and operations decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analysis of existing codebase of a project
- Analysis of code, interfaces, documentation and tutorials of existing solutions
- Writing programs using competing products to understand main features, estimate usability and benchmark obtained solutions
- Development of recommendations for improvements in a project
- Writing comparison and benchmarking reports as standalone documents and parts of documentation
- Tracking news, releases, bugs and current development of competitive projects
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in programming (C++ / Go / Rust / Java / Python)
- Vast knowledge of algorithms & data structures
- An ability to quickly understand 3rd party libraries and APIs and write efficient add-on code
- Experience in profiling, debugging, writing benchmarking and high-load tests
Optional:
- Familiarity with blockchain/cryptocurrencies
- Experience of writing smart-contracts on blockchain platforms (Hyperledger (Fabric / Sawtooth lake) / Ethereum (Parity) / Chain / Exonum / etc.)
- Experience in deployment and testing of decentralized applications
- Experience in writing inter-language wrappers and interfaces
