This role is required to manage the daily aspects of the Talent acquisition team in providing OneMars cross-segment recruitment expertise on all aspects of the hiring process for experienced hire. A key focus of this role is to:
- ensure Mars have the right balance of requisitions spread across the TA resources to deliver services to the business in a high-quality manner and in line with established service level agreements and support for senior executive-level talent search efforts;
- proactively build pipeline of potential candidates and manage expected and unexpected attrition that align with Mars Five Principles while continually promoting Mars employer reputation.
Additionally this position will play a key role in providing full life-cycle recruitment activities support to meet hiring volumes, decision support and oversight to meet the hiring demand to secure Mars business objectives.
You will:
- Lead overall recruiting team performance in the full life-cycle recruiting process across segments, ensuring Mars attracts, recruits, and selects high performing associates, and to meet key performance metrics including Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Be responsible for attracting high performing leadership capabilities and building leadership pipeline to drive the Mars business forward
- Be responsible for recruitment processes and communication, the delivery of continuous improvement to enable exceptional recruitment service delivery
- Serve as a Mars ambassadors, guardian of caliber, culture fit, diversity and candidate experience through the recruitment process
- Participate in activities of Global CoE to influence global best practices in selection and assessment strategies by providing insights and anticipating trends which embody the essence of Mars as well as to fulfil overall Mars business objectives
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition Lead in defining and developing Talent Acquisition in line with Mars Global Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence strategies
- Lead the development of recruitment and hiring metrics and analytics to increase the effectiveness of talent recruitment and selection and enhance candidate experience
We expect:
- University degree or equivalent, preferably in HR, Business
- 7+ years of experience, including three to five years in a supervisory position managing a recruiting team
- Experience in managing a team in providing cross-segment life-cycle recruiting process in a complex, diverse, high growth business and fast paced environment is highly desirable
- Ability to serve geographically distributed hiring managers while consistently deliver profession customer service
- Ability to interpret global process, practice local operational policies, address issues, troubleshoot for resolution and escalate issues to appropriate parties as needed
- Ability to prioritize business and customer needs
- Strong written, oral and listening communication skills
- Ability to provide oversight and management to synthesize/bring synergy to multiple initiatives by establishing courses of action to ensure that work is completed efficiently, adjusting priorities, establishing management routines to effectively track progress and identify issues, removing barriers and leveraging resources
- Ability to navigate computerized system or other key recruitment system (i.e. SAP, Successfactors, Avature, etc.)
