Main Purpose of Job:
Manage GAAP financial reporting for Eastern Europe region (Russia, Ukraine, CIS). Ensure accurate, timely financial statements are delivered to Regional office, Global tax team, and to the corporate controller's team for consolidation purposes, and that all processes including account reconciliation and journal entry processes are well controlled. Additionally this role will provide strong financial control, identify and manage risks, unearth cost saving opportunities and partner local business leaders when they need financial advice.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform Month (Quarter, Year) Closing Process:
? Accruals and re-classes calculation and postings across Eastern Europe region
? Detection, correction and reporting on errors in transactions
? Provide procedures support to other functions
? Monitoring and finalizing the monthly accounts closure process
? Providing transaction entries for special financial items (embedded derivatives, revaluation etc.)
- Perform Corporate Reporting process in HFM according to the corporate timetable and guidelines
- Perform US GAAP tax reporting in corporate reporting systems (GI and HFM) according to the Corporate guidelines
- Ensure alignment with CFI and SOX policies and procedures
- Perform monthly accounts reconciliations (through Blackline)
- Perform analysis for Balance Sheet review
- Participate in the GAAP and SOX audit process (external and internal)
- Maintain corporate Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers and Projects list. Ensure alignment across CEE region
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analysis for management
- Participating in finance projects
Required Qualifications / Experience:
- University degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- Fluent English
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting and GAAP Tax principles
- Excellent computer skills - mandatory (MS Excel, Power Point advanced user)
- SAP experience is preferable
- Minimum experience of 2 years in financial reporting or business analysis in a multinational company
