What you will do?
As a Sustainability Developer in Global Procurement team, your main focus will be to support and enable your own and cross functional team members to reach functional goals in Sustainability agenda and IWAY implementation (IKEA’s supplier Code of Conduct). IWAY helps IKEA to choose suppliers that act and follow the employment, tax and immigrational law.
Your main agenda would be educating and raising awareness among our suppliers and partners about IWAY.
Your main KPI is bringing a supplier from high-risk level to low-risk level to IKEA brand.
You will also create motivation and inspire suppliers and business teams to continuously identify the sustainability related business opportunities.
Is this the right challenge for you?
- To be qualified for this position you have knowledge of/interest in industry and market specific trends related to sustainability and sustainable business development.
- You have University degree within Business Administration, legal, environmental science or similar.
- You have experience of project management and it is an advantage if you have professional experience from working in a purchasing organization, GR or within Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
- As a person, you have excellent business knowledge and mindset.
- You demonstrate willingness and contribute to change by taking necessary actions and adapt to new circumstances
- You develop, motivate and inspire procurement teams, stakeholders and suppliers to identify sustainability related business opportunities.
- You are a good leader with great co-operation and negotiation skills and you like to interact with people and build trustworthy relations.
- You are experienced in auditing, and have strong logics and root-cause analysis skills.
- Position will require travel.
- You have fluent Russian and English, both written and spoken. You are familiar with Microsoft Office.
