The technology company - a manufacturer of electric vehicles is looking for a UX designer who will be responsible for the UI design of digital storefronts, web sites & applications in collaboration with Product Managers and the development team.

The UX designer will provide coordination and communication between members of the product team in his part. They will be responsible for advancing UX and UI in our products, identifying design problems and opportunities, and designing ways to solve them.

Responsibilities and duties:

1. Expert analysis of services, communication channels and user interfaces of the company, competitive, global and industry experience in order to identify areas for the development of user interface design.
2. Designing customer journey maps, user stories and usage scenarios of products and services to discover and define user tasks, pains and gains.
3. Liaising with product manager and clients to determine their requirements, managing client proposals from briefing to design and production.
4. Developing concepts, rough drafts, graphics and layouts for websites and applications.
5. Designing user interfaces at wireframes and graphic design level, creating interactive prototypes in collaboration with product managers and the development team.
6. Designing the content of user interfaces and collaborating with the editor and the project team to bring it to the target state.
7. Reviewing and adjusting designs based on the outcome of UX research and usability tests.
8. Participation in the creation of and iterative development of a design system for digital channels of interaction with our users.

Requirements & skills:

You will need adequate work experience and a portfolio of work to show. This can be either through full time roles, or work completed as part of an internship, or in spare time. We also expect a good knowledge of UI design software. Excellent methodological and practical UX design skills.

1. Excellent user interface design and prototyping skills
2. An understanding and personal interest in the latest design trends and their role within a commercial environment
3. The skills and tools to be able to see a design idea through from concept to development, working hand in hand with product managers and product teams.
4. Excellent creative and argumentation skills in design.
5. Excellent time management and design production skills.
6. Accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Written and Spoken level of English.
8. High communication & teamwork skills.

Qualifications & experience:

Entry is open to non-graduates, but preference will be given to those with relevant degrees. A degree in UI and graphic design is advantageous.

1. Higher technical or design education; additional education: design, usability, marketing, research, psychology
2. 5 years + experience in designing user interfaces for products and services in design studios, product or service companies. Preferably - automotive.
3. Experience in marketing high-tech products and designing user interfaces for them.
4. 3 years + of work in organisations and projects with agile development methodologies, with geographically distributed and multilingual teams.
5. Presence of a portfolio of projects on UI/UX design - we will ask you to demonstrate what tasks you solved, how, in what role and what was the final outcome of your participation in these projects.
