Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for a skilled and highly motivated person for the Claim Handling Specialist position in our Distribution Center in Moscow.
Purpose and function:
- Performing the claim handling tasks according to the Warranty and Non Warranty Complaints document.
- Initial verification of the claim registered/provided by the customer.
- Receiving the returned parts by customers and confirming that the content and quantity announced by the customer matches.
- Taking decision-related to the claim (accepted, rejected),
- Processing claim analysis in a standardized way.
- Documenting all received claims by collecting technical data.
- Providing Claim Analysis Report.
- For rejected claims: coordinating return shipment to the customer or coordinating scrap of the parts at the expense of the customer.
- Reporting and Monitoring predefined Key Performance Indicators.
- Participating in Train-the-trainer and Share-the-knowledge practices with Product Managers and Technical team.
- Supporting the technical team by providing and sharing the technical information on claims of all Gates Drive System and Cooling System products, and on relevant technical trends.
- Participates at Product Management, Tech Support, and Claim Handler events when needed (e.g. Tech Days, Sales Conference, etc.)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Requires a technical education in (automotive) mechanics and/or relevant practical experience with automotive engine or spare parts service.
- Knowledge of automotive technology.
- Good oral and written communication skills in Russian & English.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Nice to have: knowledge of Gates product applications.
