Job Accountabilities
The role is being created as part of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) Operating Model. The role is operating across Multiple Functions/Categories and stakeholders, as well as in a huge geography with unstable macros.
As a member of the E2E SC Team, the SCF Analyst is responsible for Financial Stewardship of Productivity & Capital PxF/ACP/AOP Planning Process, as well as the ongoing facilitation of Capital/Productivity Process including: Performance Tracking, Deployment of COE Policy & Procedures and Power Steering/Capital GlobalBrain Systems Administration.
- Finance support to SCF BP in Capital/Productivity agenda for PxF/ACP/AOP Planning Process (multiple Plants, several countries);
- Capital/Productivity Performance Tracking for the BU E2E SCF BP & SC LT;
- Capital GlobalBrain / PowerSteering System support for BU E2E SC;
- General / Adhoc support on all aspects of Capital/Productivity (definitions, calculations, systems);
- Governance/Integrity of Capital/Productivity Financials. Validate compliance with COE policy;
- Deployment & Adherence of COE Policy, Procedures and Best Practice
- Deliver end user training on Systems (as per request);
- Proposes improvements to systems/process to SCF COE
- Share best practice with peers in ESSA

- Education – University degree essential
- Minimum 3 years of relevant finance experience (or equivalent)
- Role accountabilities are typically constrained, given operating within policy/procedure, but does require thinking skills in supporting E2E SC in structure/content/financial modelling of Capex/Productivity proposals
- Role requires some decision making, but typically within guardrails of policy. Decisions outside of guardrails escalated to more senior level
- Role requires good functional knowledge of Capital/Productivity principles/systems as well as appetite to learn systems deeply in order to improve them
- Role requires good interpersonal & “reasonable” influencing skills to build relationships with E2E SC team and SC/SCF COEs
- Role requires fluent English
