Professional in consumer and business strategy. Experience and successful record of consumer, competitor, brand, communication and strategy development. Proven record of building and developing a market-leading Market Intelligence practice in-house and outsourced, delivering and effectively communicating actionable insights that influence all levels of the organization.
3+ years in Consumer research, Business Insights, Market Intelligence, Market Research, Business Intelligence, Competitive Research.
Skills and Competences :
- Expert in quantitative and qualitative research methods of all kinds
- Able to work with colleagues across multiple functions and time zones to develop a strong understanding of business, customer, competitor and market trends
- Great at making the complex simple and creating visualizations that convey key messages.
- Detail oriented while also being able to tell a story with, and extract insights from, the analysis – not a data dumper!
- Strong business acumen with strategic and critical thinking, and a natural curiosity to dig deeper.
- Strong business and analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) to enable solid business judgement
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, particularly with Operations team, product management, finance, investor relations and sales leaders
- Self-sufficient, self starter and DO’er – identify solutions and strategic direction amid ambiguity and uncertainty
- An open, inclusive team-oriented work style and an ability to collaborate cross-functionally at all levels
Key Responsibilities:
In the role of Head of Market Research and Competitive Intelligence, the successful candidate, will assume full responsibility for driving the Marketing Intelligence function for all markets of business presence of the Cashwagon Brand (Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore). Will be responsible for aligning the market research and competitive study plan with the brand strategic imperatives by identifying critical business questions; defining the information gaps; identifying and implementing the appropriate methodology to address those gaps; and integrate findings into the business.
