BCS Global Markets is the Global Markets and Investment Banking division of BCS Financial Group. The latter was launched to build an institutional business on its existing strengths in the Russian markets, and since June 2012, offers prime services and global markets business lines to institutional clients in Russia and internationally.

- UK, London — BCS Prime Brokerage Ltd (UK), licensed in June 2013
- USA, New York — BCS Americas Inc., operational since 2016
Our geographical presence allows us to combine the provision of legal protection for our clients while offering a variety of financial products.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of Equities & Fixed Income Corporate Actions, registration of incoming information, notifications to the list of interested parties;
- Creating and sending CA related reports to the list of interested parties (clients and trading depts.): Dividend Report, DSF Report, Coupon & Redemption Report;
- Participation in General Meetings and proxy voting - upon request and based on business decision;
- Income distribution and income claim processing - for Equities & Fixed Income;
- Withholding of income tax for US-securities (tax agent functions);
- Processing of mandatory CA events for Equities (Split, Conversion, Consolidation, Liquidation, Spin-Off and etc.) and Fixed Income (Final/Early/Partial Redemptions, Coupons in Cash & Kind, etc.)
- Processing of voluntary CA events for Equities (Buy-Back, Tender Offer, Pre-Emptive Right and etc.) and Fixed Income (Buy-Back, Dutch Auction, Tender Offer, Consent Fee, Put Option & etc);
- Consultancy of Client’s Dept. and Trading regarding CA terms & conditions announced on the market;
- Optimization and automation of CA Dept. workflows and processes, setting of IT tasks for development, testing and control over realization;
- Participation in the new products developing and implementation/testing in regards to CA functional;
- Revision and development of key operational procedures (KOP) and operational manuals.
Requirements:
- Higher education in Economics, Banking, Finances or Law;
- More than 1 year of work in depositary, registrar, operations of the investment bank/brokerage company;
- Good understanding of the functioning of the securities market, investment bank, custody, their operational depts;
- Languages: Native Russian, Advanced English;
- Advanced PC user;
- Knowledge of SWIFT standards (as advantage);
- Experience in Corporate Actions / Settlement is preferential.
Personality: quick learner, stress tolerant, effective time manager, responsible, able to manage with big volumes of data and tasks and meet tough deadlines, team player.
