The position requires an experienced communication professional with a high energy level, international business expertise, excellent communication and collaborative skills to ensure up to date and effective internal communication of pharmaceutical company in Russia amongst internal clients and support of the communication department's activities
Reporting line: Reports solid-line to the Corporate Communications Lead
Based in Moscow, Russia
Duties, Responsibilities, Activities:
- A member of the EEMEA Corporate Communication team
- Under supervision of the Corporate Communications Lead, develops and implements internal communication strategies and activities supporting the objectives of company in Russia as needed. Works closely with local country teams to initiate and implement internal communications activities to support the growth of business, build reputation for company and improve internal communications.
- Responsible for building internal awareness with regard to these activities through establishing excellent internal network, utilizing all appropriate communications channels and bringing innovation to internal communications.
- Develops and maintains internal and external web-sites of company in Russia
- Ensures flow of relevant information top down as well as establishes means for bottom up feedback and dialogue
- Ensures alignment with EEMEA, Emerging Markets and Global Communications strategies for reputation management, employee communications, product communications and corporate communications.
- Drives the adoption of best practices and standard communications processes, develops and shares Russia success stories with EEMEA and Global teams.
- Supports Russia's Communication Lead in external communication activities as required
- Complies with all internal policies and procedures in accounting, budgeting, and purchasing, legal, medical, marketing, compliance practices.
Skills, Knowledge Required:
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in communications
Minimum experience required/preferred: 3-4 years
- Background with multinational company, preferably in pharma industry or consumer goods (multiband FMCGs, oil majors, Tobacco) or experience in PR agency (preferred working with healthcare-related clients).
- Demonstrates good understanding of the environment in which company competes and communicates in Russia.
- Knowledge/understanding of key modern IC instruments and channels, experience with employee relations and Labor Units communication.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills (capability to produce professional copy in Russian and English).
- Effectively cooperates and communicates across functions, business units and headquarters.
- Demonstrates initiative, strategic thinking and creative problem solving in response to the communications challenges and opportunities faced by the company internally.
- Results/goal oriented.
- Self starter, strong team player
- Ability to work under time pressure.
Additional information to evaluate the candidates:
Knowledge in IC: Shows solid knowledge in the modern approach to IC, including web-based technology (social media). Understands sociology of small groups, shows ability to lead day-by-day proactive communication with employees of all the levels. Able to provide expertise, educate and motivate internal clients, drive engagement to IC among all audiences.
