Mobile Engineering Lead
Location - Tallinn
What you’ll do
-
Lead a talented team of Android and iOS developers.

Work closely with other teams to deliver features from the roadmap.

Driving the team make good technical decisions while developing the next generation of Malwarebytes mobile products.
-
Lead architectural discussions, code reviews and solving technical challenges.
-
Work with team members on their growth plans so they can achieve their best.
-
Encourage and work with your team to create innovative methods for reducing toil.
-
Provide leadership, skills development opportunities, and mentoring to engineers on your team.
-
Contribute to roadmap planning, creating of backlogs, requirements refinement.
-
Interview and hire new engineers as the teams grow.
-
Work closely with other engineering leaders to build on the already great work environment at Malwarebytes.

Remove impediments to your team so everyone achieves their best.
Skills You'll Need to Have
-
7+ years professional software engineering experience.
-
Technical leadership experience to drive innovation in your products.
-
Experience on delivering mobile products with native mobile development environments.
-
Effective in managing team priorities.
-
The ability to create innovative solutions to interesting and challenging problems.
-
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms for mobile platforms.
-
Proficiency in Mobile technologies (Java/Kotlin, Swift, Mobile App Architecture and working with REST APIs).

Understanding underlying concepts of Mobile operating systems.
-
A UX and user-centric mindset.
-
Highly self-motivated, smart and the need to get things done.

Be the foundation for a positive team attitude.

The ability to give and receive constructive feedback. To be an active listener for your team members.
Skills We'd Like You to Have
-
Experience as either a manager or a technical lead of a team delivering software products in the mobile marketplace.

Mobile security application development experience.

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance optimization and packaging.

Source management skills with Github or similar technology.

Experience building software in an Agile/Scrum environment.
-
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices.
